che non deve essere in uso. se vuoi essere sicuro, nel terminale:
umount /dev/sdX
cambia X con la lettera della tua usb.

Ultima spiaggia:
Lancia RosaImageWriter.
All'apertura della finestra di dialogo l'applicazione punta direttamente al/ai dispositivi usb.
Scegli il tuo se lo vede, e poi clicca su  "Clear".
   
Finito chiudi Rosa e poi da gParted dovresti vedere la pennetta usb come "dev/sdd" (sdd é un esempio)  con all'interno uno spazio non allocato.
Clicca su  "Dispositivo" e poi su "Crea Tabella Partizioni" (scegli msdos)
una volta applicato il passaggio vai su  "Partizione" e scegli formatta  in . . . .(scegli tu)
Io ho recuperato così la pennetta che vedi nell'immagine che ho allegato; non è detto che a te funzioni, ma una prova la farei. Ciao

RosaImageWriter e disponibile anche per linux ( formato no install)?
Windows non vede la penna usb .

Per scompattare rosawriter ( con zorin) devo usare questi comandi:ownload R.I.W. for Linux 64bit and save the archive to Desktop folder

$ cd ~/Desktop
$ wget http://wiki.rosalab.ru/en/images/7/7f/Ro..._64.tar.xz

Unpack the archive (You can run your favourite archive manager like Ark or FileRoller)

$ tar -xavpf RosaImageWriter-2.6.2-lin-x86_64.tar.xz

Tar Options

x : Extract the archive
a : Archive type -Autodetect-
v : Verbose mode
p : Preserve permissions
f : Extract the archive given

RosaImageWriter folder will be created in your Desktop folder.Please read README,html file info for more information. RosaImageWriter executable is available in this folder. Make sure it has execution permissions , if not

~/Desktop $ chmod +x RosaImageWriter/RosaImageWriter

You can starts RosaImageWriter simply running its executable on its folder

~/Desktop/RosaImageWriter $ ./RosaImageWriter

or copy/move the binary file to /usr/local/bin directory and run RosaImageWriter or whatever you want (e.g. renaming to RIW)

~/Desktop/RosaImageWriter$ sudo cp RosaImageWriter /usr/local/bin/RIW

and starts RosaImageWriter

~ $ RIW

(A root password will be required)

Plugin an USB device , it will be detected and will be shown to the RIW device field.
