Un saluto agli amici del forum.
Ho provveduto finalmente a installare win10Pro su ssd dedicato solo a lui e sta funzionando egregiamente.
Purtroppo non rileva tutti gli hdd montati (n.5) dentro il case del mio pc.
In pratica da ubuntu 20.04 li vedo tutti:

I dischi li vedo pure tramite gparted, mentre da gestione disco di win vedo solo:

Potrebbe essere un problema di assegnazione delle lettere.
Prima con l'altro windows riuscivi?

Si li vedevo. ma ora, se non li vedo, come posso cambiare lettera all'unità?
Aggiungo che ho provato a "riparare" eventuali errori tramite la live usb di installazione di win, ma mi risponde che non sono stati trovati errori.

Da gestione disco, tasto destro del mouse sull'unità poi cambia lettera e percorso.
La prima prova è quella del CDRom che invece di H dovrebbe avere D.
Vedi se cambia subito qualcosa, non so se devi riavviare. intanto proviamo solo questo poi vediamo.
Una domanda che non c'entra niente : il tuo sistema è a 64bit? Come va windows? Te lo chiedo perchè il mio è un ahtlon come il tuo ma un 6000+ 3.02Ghz e per paura che andasse male avevo messo su un win 10 a 32 bit. Se mi dici che va bene faccio il passaggio almeno posso mettere su 8gb di ram.

ci provo.
Si uso sin dal 2014 distro a 64bit e girano benissimo, compreso win.
Edit: cambiata lettera del masterizzatore da H a D, cambio ok ma nient'altro.

Non vorrei dire una cavolata ma se i dischi sono formattati in ext4 che io sappia win non li vede, a meno che su win10 sono cambiate le cose?

I dischi di cui parlo sono in ntfs.
Ad ogni modo ho risolto.
Come detto in precedenza con qualsiasi distro linux (nello specifico Ubu20.04-ubu18.04-ubu16.04-mx19.4), li vedo tranquillamente mentre sotto win non vedevo i due ssd collegati sulle porte sata 5 e 6. (anche nel bios non erano elencati (vedeva solo le porte 1,2,3,4)
Sono entrato nel bios e ho modificato la gestione degli hdd da non raid in Ahci, poi ho corretto o meglio abilitato win a "vedere" seguendo questa:

ho riavviato e funziona tutto; vedo tutti i dischi compresi quelli ssd.

La domanda è perché mai avevi il BIOS impostato con RAID senza avere un sistema RAID...
